Led by Ryan Reynolds, Deadpool is undeniably one of the funniest superhero movies in modern history, so it’s no surprise that it became a critical and commercial success with a sequel, Deadpool 2release shortly afterwards, with Deadpool 3 currently under development. Indeed, according to The Hollywood Reporter, the highly anticipated threequel will hit theaters on November 8, 2024. The film will also see the return of favorite character Wolverine (played by Hugh Jackman). Since the ferocious mutant met his tragic end in 2017 Loganwhat remains to be seen is how the Deadpool 3 team will approach Wolverine’s reincarnation. One popular theory is that, with the movie marking Deadpool’s entry into the MCU, this version of Wolverine will be some kind of variant (per CinemaBlend).
Either way, one thing’s for sure: Wade Wilson will continue to charm audiences with his humor and hilarity in Deadpool 3. His kind of comedy is, in fact, what separated him from other typical superhero fanfare. 8/8 “Whose balls did I have to stroke to get my own movie? I can’t tell you his name, but it rhymes with ‘Polverine’.”
Deadpool has left no room for interpretation from his fans and has made it clear time and again that he is hostile to Wolverine. For what it’s worth, Wolverine isn’t a huge Deadpool fan either. This lopsided chemistry between the duo is indeed becoming a running joke in the Deadpool franchise that has undoubtedly silenced the public on several occasions. Really, the public only hopes to see this in Deadpool 3especially since it’s the first time since X-Men Origins: Wolverine that the two characters were in the same room together.

What could be worse than forgetting your ammo bag, given the prospect of taking on the big baddies? Probably nothing, but only Deadpool has the guts to make a joke of it. Of course, as we see later in this scene, he kills his enemies with those 12 bullets without dying. Nothing but applause (and laughter) here!
6/8 “This is confusing. Is it sexist to hit you? Is it sexist not to hit you? I mean, the line gets really… blurry!”
It’s absolutely unclear whether hitting a woman is sexist or not, considering she’s involved in killing Deadpool. Believe it or not, male Avengers, or any other Marvel character for that matter, would have been in such a situation. But Deadpool knows his game because, as he has repeatedly mentioned, he is not a hero in this unicorn fairy tale. Yes, he hit her pretty face.
5/8 “A fourth wall breach within a fourth wall break? That’s like sixteen walls.”
Deadpool and She-Hulk master the art of breaking the fourth wall to communicate with their audience. However, fans can agree that Deadpool’s fourth wall breaks offer a specific kind of humor. During Deadpool and Deadpool 2his breaking through the fourth wall is much cleaner and smoother than most of those in She-Hulk: Lawyer.
4/8 “It’s funny that I only see two of you. It’s almost like the studio can’t afford another X-Man.”
More than just breaking the fourth wall, Deadpool consistently demonstrates his understanding of being essentially a character in a story produced by a team of creatives for an audience. This makes his jabs in movie studios all the more hilarious; he acknowledges everything the public thinks about his own film.

Deadpool undeniably has an inexhaustible list of all the things he’s collectively made fun of in the franchise. He has mocked Disney, Thanos, The Avengers, Marvel and more to entertain his audience. So DC is of course just a drop in the ocean, and honestly, why not?

Deadpool can be funny, sarcastic and a jerk, all at once, regardless of one’s feelings. Apart from this, of course, he is also an honest man who likes to keep his audience informed about the behind-the-scenes decisions that are happening in his franchise. Whether it’s wide-angle shots or CG fights, he finds humor in everything to silence the audience.

Deadpool did what other Marvel movies hadn’t: tell dirty jokes. And that’s probably what makes him a unique character in his franchise. Except for Logan and Sheetthe Deadpool movies were the only Marvel properties to receive an R rating; for the first it was precisely because of their graphic violence, but for Deadpool (who doesn’t shy away from blood and gore), it’s also because of the sexual nature of some of his jokes. He doesn’t have a filter and that’s why we love him!
