Varun Dhawan has impressed everyone with the trailer of Bhediya. The film shows him in a never-before-seen avatar of a werewolf. The actor has also been reunited with his Dilwale co-star Kriti Sanon for this creature comedy. During the launch of the film’s trailer, while speaking about the performance, the actor congratulated his co-star on her recent win at the Filmfare Awards for Best Actress for her performance in mimicalbeit in his self-mockery.

During the launch of the trailer, Varun Dhawan took the opportunity to congratulate Kriti Sanon on her recent win at the prestigious 67th Filmfare Awards, saying: “She won the Filmfare Award for mimic. That’s a great movie. Jinn logon ko nahi mila hai unlogon kaise lagta hai!” Varun added. Interestingly, today was the 10th birthday of Varun Dhawan who set the big screen on fire with his debut Student of the Year way back in 2012.
Comes to mimic, the film is an emotional drama in which Kriti Sanon becomes a surrogate for a foreign couple. During her pregnancy, the couple decides to abandon the baby as the doctor’s diagnosis states that the baby may be born with Down syndrome. The film also shows the challenges Mimi faces when she is a mother.
Talking about Kriti Sanon along with Bhediyathe actress has four other movies in the pipeline, including the Kartik Aaryan starrer shehzadaa Hindi remake of the Telugu movie Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. The actress will also reunite with her co-star from Heropanti Tiger Shroff in Ganpath and she will also be featured in Sita’s never-before-seen avatar in the latest on-screen edit of Ramayana, adipurush. The film features Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan as Ram and Raavan respectively.
Speak about Bhediya, the film is a comedy about creatures directed by Amar Kaushik. The film, produced by Dinesh Vijan, is expected to hit the big screens on November 25.
