It has been 10 years since Varun Dhawan started in movies. The actor made his debut in Karan Johar’s Student of the Year 2012 along with Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra. Today, the actor is celebrating his decade in the film industry. Interestingly enough, it was also the launch of the trailer for his upcoming movie, Bhediya. While interacting with the media on Wednesday, the actor recalled being unable to sleep the night before the release of his debut film.

‘I didn’t sleep that night. My father (David Dhawan) woke up earlier than anyone else. I made a small prayer in the temple with my mother. My mother told me so many things. There were many butterflies in my stomach. I don’t think much has changed since then because I’m nervous even now,” the actor told media on Wednesday.
On the occasion of Varun Dhawan’s 10th year in Bollywood, Jio Studios and Dinesh Vijan unveiled Bhediyas long awaited trailer in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. Set in the enchanting forests of Arunachal, the protagonist of Varun Dhawan-Kriti Sanon tells the story of Bhaskar, a man who is bitten by a mythical wolf and begins to transform into the creature itself. As Bhaskar and his ragtag friends try to find answers, a lot of twists, turns and laughter ensues.
Bhediya marks the reunion of Varun and Dinesh Vijan na badlapur. It is also Amar Kaushik’s third directorial venture with Jio Studios and Maddock Films following the success of Stree and Bala.

A production of Maddock Films, directed by Amar Kaushik, produced by Dinesh Vijan and starring Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Deepak Dobriyal and Abhishek Banerjee, will be released in Pan-India cinemas in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil on November 25 in 2D and 3D , 2022.
