The demise of Sonali Phogat in Goa came as a shock. At the age of 42 she had a heart attack and died. The body post mortem will be performed at Goa Medical College, Bambolim, Goa. Police have ruled out an initial malicious intent in her death. They said no injuries were found on her body. Sonali Phogat had gone to Goa with some of her associates. They were dining at a restaurant when she complained of chest discomfort. They rushed her to the nearby hospital, but it appears she was pronounced dead on arrival.
Now, a relative of the late TikTok star has claimed foul play could be involved. It seems she was staying in a hotel near Anjuna Beach. She has told her relatives that she would be back by August 27, 2022. Sonali Phogat was also shooting something in Goa. She is also known for her Instagram roles. The sister told media agencies that she had told her mother that she was not feeling well after her meals. It seems she was uncomfortable. She also said she was afraid of some sort of conspiracy against her. Police have said they will exercise all due care.
Her passing is mourned by the Bigg Boss 14 contestants. Aly Goni wrote: “Samajh nahi aa raha kya bolu … you messaged me 2 days back and gave me so many blessings and told me how much you loved my new song … and you asked me if I would do the same song with you.. and i promised you i will.. but i’m sorry sonali ji yeh promise ab adhura reh gaya…. you will be missed.. may god let your beautiful soul rest in peace.” The lady is survived by a daughter Yashodhara and her siblings.
