Thor: Love and Thunder has now come quite close to Rs. 90 crores mark and would aim to gain entry to the prestigious Rs. 100 Crore Club. Though it turned out to be almost a norm back in the days for Hindi movies with a score of 10-15 centuries a year, but for Hollywood releases it was still not that frequent. Now, however, in the post-pandemic times, it turns out to be a reversed scenario as Marvel movies have regularly reached centuries and now Thor: Love and Thunder will be a welcome addition to the list.
The film collected Rs. 3.50 crores* on Sunday, which was a further improvement over the Saturday collections. With this, the Marvel superhero movie has now touched Rs. $89 million*. Of course, at one point it looked like by the second weekend being over, the movie would have comfortably gone past Rs. 110 crores mark. However, the crash for the film was so big from the first Monday itself that it now manages to collect so much just because there is no worthy competition from Bollywood.
This is where footsteps trickle in JugJugg Jeeyo as well as it managed to see Rs. 1.20 crores* comes in on its fourth Sunday. In fact, this is the last time the film will see a day go past Rs. 1 crore mark because in the first place it has four days left to collect and then it would hardly be a few lakhs that would be added to the total, courtesy of – arrival of shamshera. Nevertheless, the best that could have come for the film has already happened and those associated with it won’t have many complaints, what with the total standings of Rs. 83.57 crores*.
