In just a few days, the long-awaited movie Brahmastra starring Ranbir Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt will hit theaters. While fans are excited to see their favorite pair on screen, pre-bookings are now open. The film will be released in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D formats. Now we have some insight into the pre-bookings.

With Hindi movies failing at the box office and shows being canceled and replaced, all eyes are on Brahmastra, one of the highly anticipated movies of the year. It took ten years to get this movie on the big screen and 5-7 years to get the project started. As the countdown begins for the biggest spectacle, according to an early update, 11,558 tickets have been sold for the upcoming film so far, at a leading multiplex chain.
Total ticket sales for Friday 9th September are 63%, followed by Saturday with 25% sales while Sunday is 12%. The film requires word of mouth for box office collections to show the magic. If the reactions on day one live up to expectations, the film needs to maintain momentum for at least a week to see growth. One can expect onsite bookings as soon as the film comes out. Friday will be all about word of mouth and business for the first weekend will depend on audience response.
SS Rajamouli presents Brahmāstra – Part One: Shiva in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. Produced by Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus and Starlight Pictures, the magnum opus will be released theatrically on September 9 in 5 Indian languages - Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada with an amazing cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni.
