Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s Brahmastra roars at the box office in India. After jumping on 2nd Friday and 2nd Saturday, the Ayan Mukerji film has seen a 15 percent jump on day 10. Early estimates say the film is in the range of €16.25 to 17.25 crores. This brings the total 10-day collection to Rs. 209-210 crores, bringing much-needed hit film to the Hindi film industry.

The film continued to do phenomenal business in India’s Top 10 Cities, and to everyone’s surprise, even the mass belt got on board with the film on its second weekend. The film has collected more than Rs. 40 crores in its second weekend across India, indicating a strong trend at the box office. Brahmastra is doing it like a Hollywood movie which is why the company will see another dip during the week.

There is appreciation from a certain part of the public, which translates into footsteps at the counter. The business is set to escalate again into its third weekend and this trend keeps the film in the running to compete in the Rs. 250 crore club at the box office. Brahmastra’s case came as a pleasant surprise and ended the dry spell at the box office.

Brahmastra has also instilled some confidence in the producers of upcoming films such as Vikram Vedha, Thank God and Ram Setu. With this we can say that the audience is back in the cinema halls.
