Directed by Ayan Mukerji starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, it was released a while ago. Also starring Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjun and Mouni Roy, the film came with huge hopes and expectations. To the same life, Brahmastra opened on a good note, and continued to dominate the box office in its first and second weeks. Now, during the third weekend of running the film industry, another spurt has emerged in the collections.

In this box office report we look at the third weekend collections of Brahmastra while comparing the same to previous releases that made it this far. Collecting Rs. 20.95 cr, Brahmastra has managed to emerge as the ninth all-time highest third weekend grosser. although Brahmastra knows how to surpass The Kashmir Files, which collected Rs. 20.85 cr, it fails to beat the collections of other releases like Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion which collected Rs. 42.55 cr, dangal which collected Rs. 31.79 cr, Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior which collected Rs. 27.48 cr, horsepower which collected Rs. 26.75 cr, Uri – The Surgical Strike which collected Rs. 23.54 cr, RRR which collected Rs. 23 kr, Kabir Singh which collected Rs. 22.52 cr, and Sanjuc which had collected Rs. 21.46 cr.

Moving forward, Brahmastra is expected to continue to run at the box office, in fact with reduced ticket prices. Trade forecasts estimate that the film’s collections will benefit immensely. In fact, with reduced prices and the Navratri festivities Brahmastra could see his company approaching Rs. 275 cr mark.
