Director Ayan Mukerji’s Dream Project Brahmastra made a lot of noise with its strong visuals. However, the fantasy drama received just as much criticism from trolls. Recently, the producer of the Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer, Karan Johar, talked about the same. Johar spoke about the issue at the recent FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry) event.
‘Brahmastra’ creator Karan Johar appeals to haters; says “faceless, nameless people don’t deserve recognition”
Raising the same question, the filmmaker said: “Invisible, nameless people do not deserve any recognition and they have certainly contributed to Brahmastra’s success. In fact, our film was the answer to all their negativity.” Apart from this, he also opened up about how extensive the topic of Astraverse is.
KJo explained that the film explored so many Astras such as the Nandiastra, Vanastra, Jalastra and how extensive the description of each of them is, it can create a whole universe in itself. Speak about Brahmastrasaid filmmaker Karan Johar: “Each Astra can be a huge movie and a franchise itself. Can you imagine what this one movie can really do if we take the right step in the future? It’s actually a creator of a ‘wonderful’ universe.’
Talk about BrahmastraAlong with Ralia in the lead role, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy also starred. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the first part of the trilogy, Brahmastra part one released seven years after it was announced. The film hit the big screens on September 9 in three languages, including Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
