Recently, there were reports that the long-awaited teaser of the film is expected to release on October 3. Reportedly Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and director Om Raut will launch the promo in Ayodhya. Bollywood Hungama has been informed that there is a small change in the plans.
A source told Bollywood Hungama“The teaser will be unveiled on Sunday, October 2. Prabhas together with the team of adipurush will be present in Ayodhya. This religious city in Uttar Pradesh is the birthplace of Lord Ram, on whom adipurush is based. That is why the makers thought it would be good to have promotional activities there.”
Several people from the Mumbai media association will be flown to Ayodhya to cover the event. The source said: “It is not yet certain who will join the cast and crew of… adipurush will be present alongside Prabhas for the launch of the first look. However, the creators are confident that the event will be an unforgettable one as they have tremendous confidence in the product.”
In addition to Prabhas, adipurush also stars Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, Sunny Singh and Vatsal Sheth. It is directed by Om Raut van Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior (2020) fame and produced by T-Series. The source continued: “Om Raut has proven his worth and knows how to make a great movie. adipurush a visual spectacle is expected. Both the poster and teaser will reflect the scale of the film and further amplify the hype.”
Meanwhile, Arjun Kumar, the head of the Luv-Kush Ramlila Committee confirmed that Prabhas will also attend the Ravan Dahan ceremony at the Ramlila grounds, Delhi, on Oct. 5, on the occasion of Dussehra.
adipurush will hit theaters on January 12, 2023.
