Anushka Sharma, for her next title Chakda Xpress, which is inspired by the life and times of Jhulan Goswami, women’s cricket’s greatest fast bowler of all time, is currently training in Leeds, UK, to prepare thoroughly before entering the intense cricket portions from the movie! While she’s working out, the actress revealed the first glimpse of the upcoming film on Netflix’s Films Day on Monday.

In the first teaser, she wears short hair and you get a glimpse of her training in cricket, sitting in the locker room, laughing with the team, and more. In the video, director Prosit Roy says it’s a story about “the small town of Chakda all the way to the World Cup final”.

The logline reads: “Sometimes the hardest thing a girl has to do is allow herself to dream. But if she gives herself that permission, nothing and no one can stop her from becoming what she wants. Starring Anushka Sharma, Renuka Shahane, Anshul Chauhan, Koshik Sen, Mahesh Thakur, Chakda Xpress is written by Abhishek Banerjee, produced by Karnesh Ssharma and directed by Prosit Roy.
