Marvel Actor Charlie Cox Wants Much More Legal Drama When Matt Murdock Returns Daredevil: Born Again. Now confirmed for release on Disney+, the daredevil The reinvention series will debut on Disney+ and will run for a whopping 18 episodes. Charlie Cox clearly has his own ideas about how Daredevil: Born Again will revive the Marvel character. Aside from wanting to see a lot more of Matt Murdock doing his lawyer thing, the actor has assured fans that the Disney+ reinvention won’t introduce a slapstick version of The Man Without Fear.

“I don’t think that would work. Not over the course of our entire season. Not with this character,” Cox said. “I don’t think it’s necessarily truthful enough for the source material to actually work.”

While daredevil fans can breathe a sigh of relief that Daredevil: Born Again won’t be slipping on rogue banana peels. shenanigans.

“There are plenty of comics, Daredevil comics, there are plenty of runs where there is levity,” continued Cox. “There’s lightheartedness. There’s fun. And I think with 18 episodes you have time to do a little bit of both.”

After his imminent appearance in She-Hulk: LawyerCox will next appear as Daredevil in the upcoming Disney+ series, Echo. After collaborating with both She-Hulk and Echo, Charlie Cox will lead his own series, Daredevil: Born Againwhich is expected to be released in the spring of 2024.
