USA Network and SyFy have green-lighted a third season for Don Mancini’s Chucky series.
Chuckie will wield his blade for at least another season. A few months after the end of season 2 of the critically acclaimed horror series, USA Network and SyFy have decided to award Don Mancini’s golden murder doll another series of episodes that will continue to tell the story of the iconic horror character and Jake Wheeler.
The series follows the murderous escapades of the infamous killer doll. Chucky encounters mortal enemies, old allies and new prey as he tries to spread fear and chaos everywhere he goes. After his diabolical plan to invade American children’s hospitals was thwarted in season one, Chucky seeks revenge in season 2 against those he holds responsible: surviving teens Jake (Zackary Arthur), Devon (Björgvin Arnarson) and Lexy (Alyvia Alyn Lind) . with his ex Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly), now his sworn enemy. Meanwhile, “Jevon” tries to make it as a couple despite adversity at their new Catholic school, not to mention a brand new bout of terror from the demon doll.
Chucky season 3 is thanks to the support of the fans
Since its premiere in 2021, the show has managed to build a great fandom, with old-school Child’s play fans with newcomers, ready to consume Chucky and Jake’s deadly adventures, especially since the character is part of the LGBTQ+ community. Something the series points out in the teaser released with the renewal announcement:
And of course, Don Mancini dedicated his followers and Chucky fans to the victory of season 3 in the official statement via SyFy:

This news has made Chucky very happy. Thank Damballa for that, because otherwise Chucky would have been frankly impossible to deal with. Many thanks also to our partners at SYFY, USA and UCP for helping to keep Chucky busy. See you in 2023 for what Chucky himself promises will be his scariest season yet.”
Mancini also teased the upcoming season on his social media.
Chuckie season 3 will premiere this fall on SyFy and USA Network.
