DGA says it supports WGA in efforts to reach ‘fair and reasonable’ contract – Deadline

The Directors Guild said today it supports the WGA in its ongoing negotiations for a new film and television deal. WGA’s contract expires May 1, and DGA will begin negotiations with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers on May 10 for its own contract. The DGA contract expires on June 30th.
