The high budget film is directed by Arun Matheswaran and was recently launched with the whole team attending the pooja ceremony before the shooting schedule started. From Sundeep Kishan to lead actress Priyanka Mohan to Dhanush, the lead actors graced the occasion along with the rest of the film crew.

Readers would know that Captain Miller was announced by Dhanush along with his first-look motion poster featuring Dhanush on a bicycle. This historical film is set against the backdrop of the 1930s and 1940s. A source close to the film said: “The response we received for the film’s first-look motion poster has been spectacular. The team has high expectations before the project starts with massive announcements. The film will also feature many well-known actors. important roles. Together with an ensemble cast, Captain Miller will have the regional flavor that will also please the taste of the Telugu public. This will be the biggest budgeted film in Dhanush’s career,” the source added.

Captain Miller is presented by TG Thyagarajan of Sathya Jyothi Films and produced by Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan. The film is co-produced by G. Saravanan and Sai Siddharth. Madhan Karky who worked for movies like the baahubali franchise, RRRand pushpa has written dialogues for the Tamil version of the film. The other technicians include GV Prakash Kumar for the music score, Shreyaas Krishna for the cinematography and Nagooran for the editing, with T. Ramalingam as the art director.
Sundeep Kishan, Priyanka Mohan, Dhanush stars Captain Miller is expected to be a multilingual version to be released simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
