‘Discovery’ renewed for fifth and final season

“Star Trek: Discovery” has been renewed for its fifth and final season, which will premiere in early 2024, Paramount announced Thursday. A source tells TheWrap that principal filming is mostly complete, with additional shooting set to take place later.
