After gaining appreciation for her role in Ek Villain returns, has signed Disha Patani for yet another project. The actress plays the lead in Suriya 42 which is expected to be a periodical action movie. After the actress went deep into a negative character in her latest release Ek Villain returnsshe will be featured as a starring role in her upcoming self-titled South movie starring national award-winning actor Suriya.

From what we hear, Disha Patani has explored a different look in every movie she appears in and it would be exciting to see what the actress has to offer in this period action movie made under the direction of Siruthai Siva. Sharing her excitement about her starring role in the film, Disha said: “I’m super excited to announce my next one with Suriya sir and Siva sir. It feels great to be a part of such a huge project that all the more than contains life-size elements for the audience to experience on the big screen. In addition, the character I play is also quite unique and I’m also excited to bring my never-before-seen avatar to the public.”
Speaking of Suriya 42, the film is a magnum opus mounted on an opulent scale and set against a historical backdrop. The film is expected to be released in 10 different languages.
