Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has started shooting her next film Emergency in July this year. In the upcoming film, she will play the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. she and the Emergency team have already dropped the cast’s tease and look posters. Interestingly, she’s already packed a schedule for the movie. Ranaut has been actively working on the following scheme. She recently went out with her team for technical research.

The actress grabbed her social media handle and shared the update with her fans via the Instagram story section. She shared two photos; the first shows her indulging in a conversation with her team at the location. Meanwhile, in the second photo, she and her team can be seen posing for a group photo.
At the first image, the Simran actress wrote, “Technical Recce day 1”, and tagged the official Instagram handle of her production banner, Manikarnika Film. While the caption of her second photo seemed to be addressed to those wondering if Kangana was lying under an umbrella on a sunny day.
The Tanu Weds Manu actress wrote: “Also for those wondering why that umbrella well I love getting tan but need to keep my skin tone for prosthetic patches. / PS That doesn’t mean I’m not a diva though.”
For inexperienced people, Ranaut will not only play the main role, but also be the director and writer of the film. As the title suggests, the film will document the time when then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi issued a 21-month state of emergency from 1975 to 1977. Earlier, Kangana had said in a statement to PTI: “Emergency reflects one of the most important periods in Indian political history that changed the way we look at power and that is why I decided to tell this story.”
