After a weekend of about Rs. 15 crores, Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Doctor G showed quite a big drop in collections on Monday. Early estimates put the film down about 55% on its fourth day, with collections expected to be in the range of €1.50 crore to 1.75 crore.
This brings Doctor G’s four-day total to Rs. 16.70 crores. It was important for Doctor G to see a drop of less than 40%, but sadly that didn’t happen, and what matters now is how far the movie can reach from here. Next week there are big ticket releases in the form of Ram Setu and Thank God and the movie has this week to rack up all the extra revenue it can muster in the limited time period.
