“Doctor Who” is finding a new home for its global audience.

BBC and Disney-branded television announced on Tuesday that as part of a new joint venture, “Doctor Who” will stream outside the UK and Ireland exclusively on Disney+, a departure from its current availability on BBC America and AMC+. .

In the meantime, the BBC will continue to host the beloved sci-fi series in its native UK and Ireland.
