Dwayne Johnson Teases Major ‘Black Adam’ Cameo: ‘Welcome Home’ (VIDEO)

Appearing on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” Wednesday night, Johnson didn’t give any obvious spoilers at the end of “Black Adam,” but he certainly came close. Talking about the film, Fallon said that, like most superhero movies, there’s actually a post-credits scene on “Black Adam.” And, according to the host, “something happens, and people are going to be scared.” He also teased that this anger would be because “fans have been asking this for a long time.”

Naturally, there’s the notion that there’s a Superman cameo. Fans have long expected Henry Cavill to return as the beloved Kryptonian in “Black Adam” and will be up against Johnson’s character. And while Johnson doesn’t explicitly name a name, he did elaborate a bit more on Fallon’s tease.

“For years, you guys know, fans have been screaming, they’re outraged, like hey — we’ve established Black Adam as the most powerful and unstoppable force on this planet. The most powerful and unstoppable force in the entire universe for a very long time. Time is on the edge,” Johnson said, a phrase he has used several times to describe Superman as the lead of “Black Adam.”

“So myself, 7 Bucks, Danny Garcia, Hiram Garcia, we fought, and we weren’t going to take answers, we were going to bring it up to the fans,” he continued. “And then finally – welcome home.”

Johnson has already teased a future fight between Black Adam and Superman, although he did not specify when it would take place in the time of the DCEU. And granted, with a superhero movie, you never know for sure who’s going to show up. This could be a major turning point, bringing back another beloved hero. but sure sound Like Superman is showing up at this point as soon as possible.
