Brahmastra was undoubtedly a highly anticipated Bollywood movie, and the box office collections have declared it a hit right out of the box. As soon as the fantasy drama hit the big screen, fans flooded the internet with theories and reports about spin-offs. Interestingly, director Ayan Mukerji recently discussed the same in an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Hungama.

Asked about the spin-offs of Brahmastra, the visionary director replied: “The scope is, frankly, unlimited. There was a road map of certain properties connected to the astravers past Brahmastra two and three that was part of something I have in mind. Two-three other properties. But, I think, no concrete plan is fully in place.”
Review of the making process of Brahmastra part one: ShivaMukerji further added: “When we took the time to make Brahmastra, I was very clear about one thing – we will not compromise on quality for time. I think that’s one of the things that might even slow us down a little bit, because we have to make stuff with really good technical quality, great visuals, great sound, and that takes time. I’m trying to figure out how to make that happen in a shorter amount of time, but I still have to crack it.”
In the conversation, the Wake up Sid director also discussed the feedback he gets Brahmastra. Calling himself “a feedback junkie,” Ayan claimed, “the nature of the job requires you to be a little delusional. It’s the inherent nature that you have to get a little drunk on your own idea. So that constant grounding and hearing from people I think it’s important to get you on the right track, and some of the feedback I’m getting surprises me that yes, why didn’t I get it before the movie came out?’
Brahmastra part one: Shiva, starring Ralia, also features Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjun in pivotal characters. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan also did a cameo in the magnum opus film. The film, released on September 9, has earned Rs 350+ crores worldwide.
