Bollywood actress Isha Koppikar is best known for her performances in Don, D, Krishna Cottage, and Ek Vivaah Aisa Abhi, among many others. Although the actress took a break after the birth of her daughter in July 2014, she is all set for a comeback. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungamathe actress opened up about her booming career in the 1900s and early 2000s.
EXCLUSIVE: Isha Koppikar Regrets Missing ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ For ‘Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat’; says, ‘you win some, you lose some’
In the conversation, Koppikar candidly revealed that before Sonali Kulkarni, Dil Chahta Hai was offered to her. Interestingly, she was asked to share the biggest mistake she made in her Bollywood career. Although she initially did not respond, the actress confessed that she “misses” Dil Chahta Hai. She claimed, “If I’m not mistaken Excel Entertainment, it’s… [Dil Chahta Hai] was the first movie and they had a timeline”.
The actress further added: “I [already] indicated my dates Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat, and I said please wait”. With disappointment in her voice, the actress resonated her choice by saying she stood by her morals and chose Pyaar Ishq Mohabbait is over Dil Chahta Hai, which is now a cult classic. She concluded and said “you win some, you lose some”.
Talk about Dil Chahta Hai, the ensemble star cast of the coming-of-age movie featured Aamir Khan and Akshaye Khanna along with Saif Ali Khan. Meanwhile, Suneil Shetty and Arjun Rampal starred in Pyaar, Ishq Aur Mohabbat. Both films were released in 2000.
