Ranveer Singh is making headlines again. The actor broke the internet last month by posing nude for an international magazine, Paper. The actor is always in the news for some reason – and this time it’s to be honored as the IAA Brand Endorser of the Year. The actor currently supports a total of about 41 brands and how!
EXCLUSIVE: Ranveer Singh on ‘darling’ of 41 brands: “I’m not the kind of partner who sees it as a transaction”
In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama post the award ceremony, the Jayeshbhai Jordaar actor shared what he thinks makes him the favourite, the darling of all brands, saying: “I think it’s the fact that I keep the promise. They put their trust in me and they find certain qualities of me as a person that fit their brand and they trust me to be a good ambassador and messenger for their brand.”
He continued: “They have given me that kind of trust and I make sure to live up to that trust. I keep that promise. I dare say that I even deliver too much. Often people complain about other artists and their management complains, ‘You’re ruining everyone. Everyone says that instead of 8-hour shifts, you end up working 10-12 hour shifts. Then even we have to do it because everyone says Ranveer did it.’ If the kind of work we want isn’t completed in the aforementioned 8 hours, then it’s fine to shoot some more.”
“I’m not the kind of partner who sees it as a transaction,” he added. ‘That’s the key. For me, once I’m brought into the brand family, I see myself as a team player. He then explained how he becomes part of the team and gets involved in the process. I get paid decently, but for that I provide my services as best I can, but as a team player. My whole approach is that ‘We are all one team and we are all working towards a goal and we have to do our best to make sure we can achieve that.’”
On the work front, Ranveer Singh will be the next star in Rohit Shetty’s circusreleased on December 23, 2022. After that, he will star in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani and Shankar’s Anniyan.
