Neha Kakkaro‘s song, a remake, oh sajna gets a lot of criticism online. Well, for starters, the netizens who enjoyed the OG version of Falguni Pathakthe song Maine Payal Hai Chhankai. Since the remake song was released, the Indian idol 13 Judge – Neha Kakkar has been on the receiving end quite a few times. Earlier, Falguni Pathak, who is getting ready for the Garba/Navratri season again, had expressed her wish to sue Neha for remaking the song. She expressed her sadness and stated that she did not have the rights to Maine Payal Hai Chhankai. And now Falguni seems to have made another dig at Neha’s O Sajna. The Entertainment News has been full of online trolls for Neha Kakkar’s O Sajna since its teaser was released. When the song came out on September 19, the trolling started and fans criticized Neha for ruining another popular song from the 90s. Neha previously remade Yaad Piya Ki Aane Lagi, also a popular song by Falguni Pathak. After going to sue Neha, Falguni has now shared her initial response to O Sajna.

Speaking to Delhi Times, the singer said she heard about the remake a few days ago. Falguni added that her initial reaction was not nice. “First reaction achha toh nahi tha, I was like, mujhe bas ulti aani baaki thi, aisa ho gaya tha,” shared DNA, quoting DT’s singer.

Moreover, Faluguni Pathak, without spurning her words, said that the OG song, Maine Payal Hai Chhankai, had innocence, which has been completely ruined in the remake’s picturation. The remake will star Dhanashree Verma and Bigg Boss 11 fame Priyank Sharma alongside Neha Kakkar. Falguni went on to add that remixes happen to reach younger audiences, but they need to be done in a decent way. She asked not to make the song cheap and to keep the essence, the originality of the song while recreating it.

It just so happened that Falguni also shared fan reactions to the song in her Instagram stories, adding to the trolls. When asked about the same, Falguni defended herself by saying that she didn’t have to do anything because her fans are taking action against Neha Kakkar and the remix song, O Sajna. Falguni shared that she only shares stories, adding why she would keep quiet when her fans support her like that.
