Fatima Sana Shaikh has talked about playing a rather interesting role in the period drama Sam Bahadur. While she left everyone impressed with her amazing performance as Lali in Modern Love Mumbai, she is now preparing to play a real on-screen character in her next one. And now the actress is all set for the shooting for the same and has left to complete yet another schedule of the movie with her co-stars Vicky Kaushal and Mohammad Zeeshan Ayyub.

In a recent social media post, Fatima Sana Shaikh spoke about taking off for the schedule of Sam Bahadur. She posted a photo with her co-stars Vicky Kaushal and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub from a flight along with a funny caption referring to them as ‘Ache Bachhe’ (Good Children) and captioned it on the photo in the Instagram story.
As for the movie Sam Bahadur, Fatima Sana Shaikh will be featured as the former late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and fans are sure to get a glimpse of the actress in this iconic role. Sam Bahadur is based on the life of Sam Manekshaw who was the Chief of Army Staff of the Indian Army during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971 and the first Indian Army officer to be promoted to the rank of Field Marshal.
On the work front, together with Sam BahadurFatima Sana Shaikh has an interesting line-up and she will also be featured in Dhak Dhak. Directed and co-written by Tarun Dudeja, co-produced by Taapsee Pannu, Pranjal Khanddiya and Ayush Maheshwari.
