CBS pulled the episode in the wake of the school shooting in Uvalde, Texas earlier this year
CBS’ “FBI” viewers finally got to see the Season 4 finale, which was pulled at the last minute after a school shooting in Uvalde, Texas earlier this year. Instead, it aired on Tuesday night as the third episode of Season 5, and it appears to pique audience interests.
The episode involves the reluctance of Jeremy Sisto’s character, Jubal’s son, and a classmate to provide information regarding a massive gun theft. It performed well and was by far the most-watched show of the night, with a 0.6 rating among the advertiser-prestigious 18–49 demographic and a total of 7 million viewers at 8 p.m.
However, “FBI” was slightly kicked out of the top demo rating spot by NBC’s “The Voice”, which managed 0.7 as viewers battle the coaches to finalize their teams during the last of the blind auditions. Tune in to see.
