Former Goldberg star Jeff Garlin reveals he has bipolar disorder

Jeff Garlin, the former star of ABC’s “The Goldbergs,” has opened up about his mental health on InstagramRevealing that she has bipolar disorder.

“Bipolar is a Mother-Ker,” he wrote next to a photo of Stafford Rep as Chief O’Hara in the television series “Batman.”

“Sometimes it’s just too much to deal with. I’m doing my best. This is the first time I’ve opened up about this,” Garlin said.

The actor’s post came on the eve of the season 10 premiere of the ABC comedy “The Goldbergs,” which finally penned his character. ABC previously announced that the show would eliminate the character, but details were left unclear when the show premiered on Wednesday night.

“A few months ago, out of nowhere, we lost our father,” Adam (Sean Giambrone) said in the episode. “We will always love you, Dad. Always. And we will find a way to continue together. Because after all we are Goldbergs.”

After investigating unspecified on-set behavior, a rep for ABC confirmed to TheWrap last fall that Garlin would no longer appear on the sitcom. His departure became effective with immediate effect.

The specific reason for Garlin’s exit from Season 9 was not made public. However, at that time, Vanity Fair published an interview with Garlin In which the actor denied being fired from the show but admitted that “I have had an HR inquiry in the last three years. HR came to me for three consecutive years for my behavior on the sets.

The show used previously shot footage with the actor to conclude Season 9.
