Fox and NBC went head-to-head in Monday night’s ratings this week, as the network’s top-rated shows “9-1-1” and “The Voice” battled each other for the coveted 18-49 demographic . While both led the night with 0.51 ratings scores, CBS won the overall average viewership, as it has done for the past four consecutive Mondays.
Ultimately, the flagship “9-1-1” brought the heat to the demo with 0.69, the highest level in hours and nights in the network. Meanwhile, CBS’s “NCIS” averaged 6.9 million viewers, maintaining all of its viewership from a week earlier.
Here’s how the night turns out on broadcast networks:
Fox and NBC took first place in the major demos. Following the pre-airing of an emotional new episode of the Angela Bassett-starring drama, there was a new installment of “The Cleaning Lady”, which garnered 0.32 in demos and averaged 2.2 million viewers. For the latter network, “The Voice” sang its way to an average audience total of 0.6 and 8 p.m. in the demo, closing at 10 p.m. An installment of “Quantum Leap”, which received and attracted a score of 0.33. 2.2 million total average viewers.
During the 8 p.m. slot, CBS posted season-best viewership for “The Neighborhood” and “Bob Hart’s Abishola”, reaching 5.7 and 5.4 million viewers, respectively. At 9 p.m., “NCIS” posted a demo score of 0.53, as well as claiming victory in total viewership on primetime and broadcast networks, as it did the week before. The airing of “NCIS: Hawaii” at 10 brought in 0.36 in the demo and an overall average audience of 5 million.



After CBS, NBC was second in overall average viewership, grossing 4.6 million.
Third in the ratings was ABC, with a demo rating of 0.5. For two hours starting at 8 p.m., “Bachelor in Paradise” claimed 0.58 in demos and an average of 2.4 million viewers. Ending at 10 p.m., “The Good Doctor” aired, with an average of 0.33 and 3.2 million overall viewers.
Meanwhile, Fox was in third place in viewership, receiving an average of 3.7 million.
CBS was ranked fourth in the ratings with a score of 0.48. ABC was in fourth place in total viewership with 2.6 million.
The CW ranked fifth in ratings and overall average viewership, scoring 0.13 in the demo and 442,000 viewers. There was a new installment of “All American” at 8 p.m., which scored 0.14 in ratings and attracted an average of 481,000 viewers. An hour later, its spinoff “All American: Homecoming” received 0.13 and 403,000 overall average viewers.



Neither Fox nor The CW airs primetime programming at 10 p.m.
Among Spanish-language networks, Univision was in the first demo with 0.5 and a total of 1.8 million viewers in primetime. “La Herencia, un legado de amor”, which aired from 8 pm to 9 pm, received a 0.6 demo rating and nearly 2 million total viewers. “Los Ricos Tambián Llorán” received a total of 1.9 million viewers on demos 0.6 and 9.
