In the film, several young people spend their holidays in a recently reopened summer camp, in which a young man drowned in the lake several years before. Within a short time, some of them are found dead.

Very few details have been shared since the series was announced except for the return of original protagonist Adrienne King, who has finally revealed details through her Instagram:

“Happy Friday Campers! Bryan Fuller, our damned brilliant lead consultant/producer on Crystal Lake, the upcoming series and I had another exciting meeting that filled me with what’s to come at Camp Blood! Always a pleasure and can’t wait for me to I can share some details!”

Many movie classics in recent years have had the opportunity to continue their stories or expand their universe, both on the big and small screen. Halloween was one of the first and managed to move away from the most recent failed attempts to install a new trilogy that continues the original story.

I know what you did last summer tried to do the same on TV, albeit with very little success. However, a continuation of the films is in development, with the possible return of the original cast. The one who managed to shine as a series was Child’s playwith its creator Don Mancini behind the series, once again winning over fans Chuckie.

Another good example is that of screamwhich released the fifth part of the saga in 2022 and quickly confirmed the sequel, which was released in cinemas just a few weeks ago and has already become a resounding success, with many calls Scream VI the best since the first episode.

The one who did not have the same luck was The massacre of the chainsawwhich returned with a movie in 2022 from the hand of Netflix and was very poorly accepted by both critics and fans of the critically acclaimed 1978 horror film.
