“General Hospital” star Haley Pulos was arrested for drunk driving after police say the car she was driving jumped a highway divider on a Los Angeles-area freeway and slammed into oncoming traffic Went.
California Highway Patrol reports Obtained by TMZ Police wrote that the actress, who plays Molly Lansing-Davis, was driving on a Pasadena freeway on April 29 when she turned and her car flew over the dividing barrier into oncoming traffic. She collided with another vehicle traveling in the opposite direction at 60 mph.
The driver of the other car survived, but not without being hospitalized with serious injuries.
Police said Pullos, who is now on leave from the ABC soap opera, could not get out of her car, so firefighters helped her into an ambulance. He reportedly hit a firefighter assessing his injuries, yelling “That’s a $400 f—ing shirt!”
The police report stated that a search of Pulos’ car turned up cannabis edibles and miniature bottles of tequila.
Police visited her in the hospital and noted that she was driving under the influence, with signs of slurred speech, watery eyes and the smell of alcohol on her breath. He was then arrested for felony DUI. The police report also states that she became aggressive and fought with hospital staff, requiring them to sedate her.
According to a TMZ report, Pulos also had a hit-and-run crash before the collision on the freeway.
Last week, actress Said Soap Opera Digest that she was taking a break from the show to recover from a car accident, but did not mention details.
Pasadena Fire Department Facebook page posted pictures From the crash site, which you can see below. The commitment of fire department resources included two engines, a truck, two rescue ambulances and a battalion chief.
