TO CARRY OUT [2020]
The first in the list is the sports romance drama Run On which aired in 2020. The lead roles of the drama are Im Si Wan and Lee Se Kyung. In front of Extraordinary Attorney Woo, Kang Tae Oh got a recognition with Run through. Girls’ Generation’s Kang Tae Oh and Sooyoung take the second lead in the drama, but they steal the show nonetheless.

Kang Tae Oh plays the role of a university graduate and later roommate of Ki Seon Gyeom (played by Im Siwan). The drama felt good in many ways, as it not only commented on healthy relationships, portrayed mature characters growing with each other, and also showed stories that many of us can tell.

Kang Tae Oh has also shown his acting prowess in the historical dramas. He played the role of Grand Prince Neungyang in the drama of 2019 The Story of Nokdu. Kang Tae Oh previously acted in a sports drama Run On in 2020. The actor played the role of Kang Ho Young, a short track speed skater who is scouted for the sport by Kangbaek University. The 4-episode miniseries charts Kang Ho Young’s journey as he participates in an event and meets Park Eun Ho, considered ‘The King’ of short track speed skating.

His drama from 2017 you are too much got him the ‘Rising Star Award’ on the 2nd Asia Artist Awards. He played the role of Lee Kyung Soo, the blind son of Yoo Ji Na. He takes piano lessons and can play well. At the age of 25 he runs a cafe. Kang Tae Oh did justice to the role of a blind man.

In addition to playing roles in fictional stories, Kang Tae Oh also participated in several other shows such as Busted, Roommate Season 2, Running Man, Return of Superman, to name a few.
