Ke Huy Quan would like to return as a short round in a new film

While Indiana Jones 5in other words Indiana Jones, might bring back some familiar faces, but Ke Huy Quan won’t be there, so fans shouldn’t expect Short Round in the sequel. But should the franchise continue, perhaps with a new protagonist if Harrison Ford wants to continue, Quan is poised to reprise the role. He previously talked about the possibility and suggested that he would be very happy to play a short adult round in a new indy movie.

“YES! Definitely looking for more Indiana Jones movies,” Quan said in a Reddit AMA when asked if he would return.

“I didn’t act when I was a kid,” Quan also said of how he happened to be lucky with his Short Round casting. “I happened to be in the right place and at the right time when Spielberg and Lucas were looking for an Asian kid to be Indy’s sidekick. And I just fell in love with it because it’s one of the best professions in the world. grateful to be able to do this again after 2 decades of absence.”

Indiana Jones will hit theaters on June 30, 2023.
