Sidharth Shukla’s tragic and untimely death caused millions of grief. But the greatest emptiness is felt by his family and neighbor. It is a known fact that Shehnaaz Gill was very close to her. Shehnaaz Gill’s distraught images of his funeral left us with a lump in our throats. The next three months were very hard for her. Finally she got back on her feet and is now working on several projects. From Salman Khan’s movie Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ka Jaan to a tour with Sanjay Dutt, she goes everywhere. Shehnaaz Gill also focuses on her spiritual growth.
Designer Ken Ferns, who was very close to both Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill, told us she is someone who is very focused on self-growth. It seems that she spends a lot of time watching videos whether they are related to singing, acting or general stuff. She wants to learn more. Ken Ferns said, “It’s amazing to see how much she’s been working on self-improvement. When I first met her at Bigg Boss 13, I never thought we’d be friends. We’re from two different worlds.”
Ken Ferns also revealed that he had met Sidharth Shukla’s mother Rita and his sister at a physical center a few days ago. He had been there for physio when he heard the voices of two women talking at the reception. “The voices sounded familiar and I peeked out,” he said. It seems Sidharth Shukla was the center when he got injured and needed some therapy. “I feel like fate has tied us together. I’ll always be close to the family,” says Ken.
Sidharth Shukla died when he was at his peak. It seems he had several projects in the pipeline after Broken But Beautiful 3. “It’s so painful. I really hope he’s in a better place because we’re not in one,” says Ken Ferns.
