Hocus Pocus Fans Can Vacation in the Sanderson Sisters’ Salem Cottage

To celebrate the premiere of Hocus Pocus 2, fans can stay in a replica of the Sanderson Sisters’ worn-out cottage from the first film.

In honor of the first Hocus Pocus movie released 30 years ago, starring Kathy Najimy, Sarah Jessica Parker and Bette Midler, fans have a chance to win an exclusive stay on October 20, 2022, for up to two guests, for just $31 a night at the home of the Sanderson Sisters from the original Disney movie. The booking window opens on October 12, 2022 at 1:00 PM EST. Located in the remote forests of Salem, Massachusetts, guests are available to: book through Airbnb. Remains throughout the cottage include a bubbling cauldron and your own broomstick.

The Airbnb reads:

Nestled in the remote forests of Danvers, Massachusetts, the Sanderson Sisters’ cottage has been recreated as if it had been frozen in time for 300 years—just in time for the siblings’ long-awaited return in Hocus Pocus 2. As if it is untouched by time, our creaky old house stands high among the trees and beckons visitors as if in trance. Enter through the window or the waterwheel, but watch your step – a cobweb or two and the smoke from our cauldron awaits you inside.”

The list adds:

“Guests should also note that because our precious cottage does not come with ‘facilities’, we have added a modern outbuilding a stone’s throw from the house for your convenience.”

Najimy said via Airbnb:

MOVIEWEB VIDEO OF THE DAY

“We all know that the Sanderson Sisters story might not end when we turned to dust, and neither did our shenanigans. What better way to celebrate the season than to host guests at the trio’s historic haunt for an evening they’ll remember for years to come?”

Airbnb offers fans the chance to stay in other cinemas

The 1993 original Hocus Pocus film stayed true to its story with filming taking place in Salem. The city’s main landmarks are Old Burial Hill, Washington Square, and Essex Street, but for the sequel, filmmakers set up camp in Rhode Island. Set designers built a replica of a 1600s Salem village in Lincoln’s Chase Farm Park, and for some of today’s scenes, crews shot outside Lasalle Academy in Providence.

Seen via Airbnb, Tony Stark’s Fairburn, Georgia cabin in Avengers: Endgame is also available for $800 per night. Bella Swan’s St. Helens, Oregon home from the Twilight movie series can be booked for $436 per night. Just before the Sex and the city Restart And just like that premiered, Sarah Jessica Parker hosted an Airbnb stay at Carrie Bradshaw’s New York City apartment.
