Speak with Total movieLatcham revealed that Dungeons & Dragons: honor among thieves will be largely brought to life using hands-on sets and physical monsters, specifically aimed at Jurassic Park for inspiration.

When making an adventure movie, you could do a lot worse than turn to Steven Spielberg for help. Dungeons & Dragons: honor among thieves co-directors Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley then chimed in and explained how they will apply the lessons learned Jurassic Park. Namely, the expert blending of practicality and visual effects.
“Jurassic Park was really our spirit animal in our approach to this movie. What Spielberg did so perfectly was combine practicality and visual effects. And that’s what we were able to do with this.”

Dungeons & Dragons: honor among thieves follows a charming thief and a band of unlikely adventurers as they undertake an epic heist to retrieve a lost relic, but things go dangerously wrong when they run afoul of the wrong people. Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves brings the rich world and playful spirit of the legendary role-playing game to the big screen in this hilarious action-packed adventure.
