Netflix and Ryan Murphy’s true-crime series minced several popular franchise shows and dropped to No. 2 on this week’s list.
We look at the top breakouts from the past week in this weekly data series powered by Parrot Analytics. Breakout Show is the most sought after series which premiered in last 100 days.
There was a fight for the top spot on this week’s list of top new shows. Netflix’s latest hit, “Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer StoryLast week’s average was 50.2 times chain demand, which placed it remarkably close to “.dragon house(52.8 times this week), according to data from Parrot Analytics, which takes into account consumer research, streaming, downloads and social media, among other engagements.

While HBO’s “House of the Dragon” has been topping the charts for weeks now, Netflix’s “Dahmer” had all the right elements to make it a breakout hit with audiences. It is the latest series in the highly successful dramatic true crime genre and was created by Ryan Murphy. It is also likely to benefit from the general seasonal spurt in demand for scary content around October. Even more impressive was that “Dahmer” garnered more audience attention this week than any of the three current series in some of the biggest franchises — “Star Wars,” Marvel and “Lord of the Rings.”
With data for its first full week since its premiere on September 21, “internal management and” has made it to the top three most sought-after new releases with 33.9 times the average series demand. The strong performance of “Endors” sets it apart from other recent Disney+ series.She-Hulk: Lawyer at Law”, which has been a steady showing for the stage since its premiere in mid-August and has several weeks left in its first season. The success of these two series gives Disney+ two shows in the top five this week as it continues to leverage a strong pipeline of content from its two major franchises, Marvel and “Star Wars.”
Netflix anime demandCyberpunk: Edgerunnersis holding up well. Despite dropping all its episodes on September 13, demand for the show has remained stagnant for a second week. This could be an indicator that new viewers are exploring the show beyond the original fan base , who saw it in the first week and may have been fans of the video game it’s based on.

Hulu’srebootIt premiered on September 20 and has risen to ninth in the rankings this week. It had 19 times the average series demand and is scheduled to continue releasing episodes until October 25. It remains to be seen whether it can maintain its momentum in the coming weeks till the conclusion.
This is not unheard of for the dreamer. Another Hulu comedy, “Only Murders in the Building,” is a great example of how to attract fans and build demand over the course of a season. It managed to progressively increase its demand each week, leading up to its season one finale when it finished with a new high level of demand.
