The Screen Actors Guild Awards were handed out on Sunday at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles, Calif. — and the only place to watch the annual kudoscast was online.
TNT and TBS, which had broadcast the SAG Awards since 1998 and 2007 respectively, dropped the annual event last May. As a result, the show aired live on Netflix’s YouTube channel, starting at 8/7c (which you can also watch via the embedded video above).
Abbott Elementary School won Best Ensemble in a Comedy Series, with the bearis Jeremy Allen White and hacks‘ Jean Smart wins Best Comedy Actor and Actress. The White Lotus won Best Dramatic Ensemble, with ozarkis Jason Bateman and Lotus‘ Jennifer Coolidge wins Best Actor and Dramatic Actress.
On the way to the main event, ozarkThe final season of led the TV pack with four nominations, including nods for Bateman, Laura Linney, Julia Garner and the show’s ensemble. Closely following, with three nominations each, are You better call Saulthe swan song, HBO barry and Hulu’s Only murders in the building.
On the cinema side, The Banshees of Inisherin And Everything everywhere all at once tied with five nods each, and both films were represented in the Outstanding Cast in a Motion Picture category.
