Imlie fans are bombarding the station and production house with requests not to end the story of Aryan Singh Rathore (Fahmaan Khan) and Imlie (Sumbul Touqeer). They have also criticized Gul Khan for destroying the show for the sake of the generation gap. Fans feel that the obsession with kids is ruining the show, and creators could have explored other facets of Imlie and Aryan’s lives. Anyway, it looks like there will be a whole new cast coming for season two. According to Twitter, an actor from the cast also confirmed that new actors have been signed for season two of Imlie.
According to Gossips TV, we will see a completion sequence between Imlie and Aryan Singh Rathore. Post that the show will jump nine months when Imlie becomes a mother to a little girl. The rivalry with Malini will continue. It looks like there will be an incident where Aryan and Imlie will die trying to save their daughter. Cheeni will grow up with Malini. Both girls will grow up. Cheeni and Imlie’s daughter rivalry we’ll see next season. Sumbul Touqeer can be kept and play the daughter in the show.
Imlie fans are extremely upset by this decision. The show is consistently getting TRPs above 2 on TV. Fahmaan Khan and Sumbul Touqeer just played a live where the former said all good things must come to an end. He said Imlie is a big show and will forever have a place in his heart. Fans will miss the duo immensely.
