The upcoming Marvel TV series “Secret Assault” has a lot on Nick Fury’s plate and you can see that in the first trailer, which debuted during Marvel’s presentation at D23 Expo 2022 on Saturday.

It begins with Nick Fury (Samuel L Jackson) returning from space looking gorgeous. Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) meets him at a bar and makes up for not showing up to help him with other unknown problems that have likely occurred since he left Earth.
“Three years, you’ve been escaping Earth. I’ve called several times for your help. And you’re so content to let those calls go straight to voicemail.”
“Yeah well. It’s different,” says Fury. And it is!
