It’s Shapeshifters vs. Nick Fury in Marvel Series First Trailer (VIDEO)

The upcoming Marvel TV series “Secret Assault” has a lot on Nick Fury’s plate and you can see that in the first trailer, which debuted during Marvel’s presentation at D23 Expo 2022 on Saturday.

Watch it now below:

It begins with Nick Fury (Samuel L Jackson) returning from space looking gorgeous. Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) meets him at a bar and makes up for not showing up to help him with other unknown problems that have likely occurred since he left Earth.

“Three years, you’ve been escaping Earth. I’ve called several times for your help. And you’re so content to let those calls go straight to voicemail.”

“Yeah well. It’s different,” says Fury. And it is!

See, in the comic book event series “Secret Invasion”, written by Brian Michael Bendis and illustrated by Lynnil Francis Yu, several key characters were revealed as Skrulls – shape-shifting aliens. 2019) was seen. Again in “Spider-Man: Far From Home” (2019).

However, the comics were wiped out, with only a few B-level heroes and villains who actually turned out to be Skrull traitors. Perhaps some really heavy-hitters on the show will be kidnapped and then replaced.

If anything, it’s pretty clear that it’s intended to be a paranoid thriller with Skrull infiltrators instead of Hydra, along the lines of “Captain America: The Winter Soldier.” And no, we’re not complaining. Along with Smulders and Jackson, we starred Ben Mendelsoh as Talos, Don Cheadle Kingsley as James Rhodes and Martin Freeman as Everett. Seen as Ross as well. We also saw Kingsley Ben-Adir, Olivia Colman, Emilia Clarke, Carmen Ejogo and Christopher Macdonald in the new cast of the MCU.

“Mr. Robot” alum Kyle Bradstreet is the lead author.
