James Austin Johnson drops by ‘Weekend Update’ with some funny random impressions (VIDEO)

On the latest “SNL,” the “Weekend Update” segment ended on a goofier and funnier than usual note when Colin Jost said they were out of material but still had minutes left to fill.

Instead of Jost and his co-host Michael Che coming up with jokes to fill the void, they brought out James Austin Johnson, the show’s resident impression master, to fill that time with a series of random impressions.

And, they were quite funny.

First, Johnson did an impression of Adam Driver as Kylo Ren from “Star Wars” on the show “Girls.”

“Anna, do you know how difficult it is to be on the dark side of the force. No, you don’t because you’re a child!

Next, Johnson channels his inner Batman, as the Gotham City superhero reads “Where’s Waldo?”

“Where is he?!?” Austin said, pretending to hold the book.

Afterwards, Johnson explained to “Weekend Update” that his next impression would be to be a great guest on the show. He tapped into his inner Jay-Z and the Brooklyn rapper is down below.

“Beyoncé! Hey, Beyoncé,” Johnson said.

Jost couldn’t help laughing and told Johnson that he didn’t think he put much thought into these impressions. However, Johnson put them on to come along on what we think was his best night, with former President Donald Trump ordering cocktails at a restaurant.

“We’ve been waiting a very long time for that Negroni. It’s a very long time. It’s a three-ingredient drink. We’ve been thirsty. Very thirsty,” Johnson said.
