“It’s just heaven,” co-star Dianne Wiest said of working with Renner on the series in a MovieWeb interview. “I love working with him. I’m always so happy when I have a scene with him because he’s the kind of actor who isn’t able to tell lies in his acting. He’s not capable of it. What you see is what is true, and there are no frills… I really love him.”

Renner is also known for his Avengers role as Clint Barton, culminating in him getting his own series on Disney+ in 2021. Hawkeye isn’t expected to get a second season, but that doesn’t mean we won’t see more of Clint in the MCU at some point. While he will keep busy with his role in Mayor of KingstonRenner has also said that he would like to keep wearing the Hawkeye tights for as long as possible, so you never know when he’ll show up in that world again.

“I can keep that up for another ten years,” Renner said of having even more gas in the tank for Hawkeye. “Until I just can’t fit in that damn costume anymore.”

On acting in general, Renner added, “I’ll do it until no one wants to see me do it.”

Given his popularity, it is clear that there are many fans who would like to see the actor continue to perform on the big and small screens for years to come. For now, of course, the focus is on getting better.
