Actor Jeremy Renner was injured while plowing snow near his home on Sunday and is currently in hospital in a “serious but stable” condition.
“We can confirm that Jeremy is in a serious but stable condition after suffering a weather-related accident while plowing snow earlier today. His family is with him and he is receiving excellent care.”
Rainer lives near Lake Tahoe in the Reno, Nevada area, which was hit hard by a major winter storm over the New Year’s Eve weekend, Thousands of residents were left without power, although the full extent of the storm’s effects is not known. The storm comes just days after a bomb cyclone named Winter Storm Eliot killed 62 people in the eastern United States.
The two-time Oscar nominee has been living in the area since at least 2021 and publicly discussed Efforts to build an additional fire station to deal with the higher fire risk.
Renner currently stars on the Paramount+ drama “The Mayor of Kingstown,” which debuts in November 2021. The second season of the show premiered on 13 January. The series was co-created by “Yellowstone” mastermind Taylor Sheridan, who also directed Reiner’s 2017 film “Wind.” river.”
