John Boyega Responds to Early Appearance in Puberty Lecture Booklet

Every actor has to start somewhere. That’s a pretty common expression in the entertainment industry. It is therefore appropriate that this should be so by John Boyega reaction when faced with the memory of one of his earliest roles: promoting teen puberty. Yes, long before he became a Hollywood star, Boyega earned a little money for a day’s work getting pictures taken for promotional materials used in school.

The photo in question was shared on social media by a fan showing the smiling face of the Star Wars actor and wanted to ask him why he was in their kid’s puberty class. Boyega responded with a laughing emoji, noting:

“We all have to start somewhere… This was a £50 payday! Look at that damn smile. I already did budgets. lol”

Of course, this kind of retrospective never comes without some degree of ribbing, but this time most of it came in the form of fans noticing the use of the “ridiculously handsome” star in a puberty read and marveling at his journey from there to his Star Wars role.

One person said, “I wish puberty had a warning label. Like ‘Not guaranteed to be as ridiculously handsome as John Boyega.'” Another added, “This is hysterical – I love it! So humble! From adolescent pamphlet to hero in A Galaxy Far, Far Away!” A third considered it a more inspiring sight, saying, “This shows people that we can only see that their fame and success don’t come out of nowhere. You are now where you are because of your hard work! £50 well deserved!!”

The original movie starred BoyegaDoctor who‘s Jodie Whittaker, Alex Esmail, Franz Drameh, Leeon Jones, Simon Howard and Nick Frost.
