‘Judge Shaved 3 Years of Good Behavior’ (Video)

Marjorie Taylor Green’s husband Perry Green filed for divorce from the controversial congresswoman on Wednesday, claiming his marriage is “irreparably broken” — and Jimmy Kimmel cracking jokes as he prepared by the time of Thursday night’s monologue .

Filming live from Brooklyn, Kimmel publicly broke the subject of Green’s crumbling marriage, citing her relationship with former President Donald Trump.

“I thought it was interesting: One of Trump’s most loyal ‘maggetts’ is Congressman Marjorie Taylor Greene,” said Kimmel, who earned a lone “boo” from the audience. “She’s getting divorced! Her husband Perry Green filed for divorce yesterday after 27 years.”

The news was applauded by the audience before Kimmel entered the punchline.

“His original sentence was 30 years, but the judge shaved off three years for good behavior,” he said.

And the bit continued: “In the place he was supposed to give the reason for the divorce, he wrote, ‘I’m married to Marjorie Taylor Green.

Once again there was applause in the theatre.

While making fun of someone because their marriage is dissolved may seem like a low blow, this is hardly the first time Kimmel — and Very Late Night, for that matter — has taken aim at Taylor Green. Nor has there been any response to such animosity by the Georgian representative.

Taylor Green also claimed last April that she reported Kimmel to Capitol police for an alleged “threat of violence”—which the late-night host jokingly responded to by reporting it to the Justice League.

In other words, these two are not fans of each other for a long time.
