“Wouldn’t it be great?”

She added that instead of wearing a cape, she might feel more at home with a “superhero apron.” How exactly that would go among the heroes and villains of any action-packed superhero movie is something everyone would love to see, but if Roberts jumps on the bandwagon, she may find she needs more than just an apron.

Meanwhile, during the same interview, George Clooney also reminded everyone of his past foray into the world of superheroes, even if that is part of what is arguably the worst Batman movie to ever hit the big screen. After infamously playing Batman in Batman & Robin in 1997, Clooney revealed that his son is a huge Batman fan. As Clooney said:

“I said, ‘You know I was Batman?’ And he was like, ‘no more.’”

Though she may have made a name for herself as the star of movies like Notting Hill, Runaway Bride and of course, Beautiful woman, Ticket to paradise is her first film in the genre in barely two decades. However, there’s a reason she’s been absent from the world of Rom-Coms for so long and why she decided it was time to come back. She previously said:

“People sometimes misinterpret the amount of time that has passed that I haven’t made a romantic comedy because I don’t want to do one. If I had read something I thought was that Notting Hill level of writing or My Best Friend’s Wedding level of insanely nice I would do it They didn’t exist until this movie [Ticket to Paradise] that I just did that Ol Parker wrote and directed. But even with that I thought, well, disaster, because this only works if it’s George Clooney. Look, George felt like it only worked for me. Somehow we were both able to do it, and off we went.”

Obviously, this isn’t the first time Roberts and Clooney have joined forces, having previously appeared in Oceans 11 and its sequel, as well as 2016’s money monsterand Ticket to paradise is certified fresh on Rotten Tomatoes with its early reviews. While it may not be a Marvel blockbuster, sometimes a soft Rom-Com from two old hands of the industry is just what it takes. Ticket to paradise will be published on October 21.
