Kamal Haasan has received appreciation and praise for his latest release Vikram. Another honor is coming his way. The Ulaganayakan or global superstar became a part of the LCU aka Lokesh Kanagaraj Cinematic Universe with Vikram which also starred Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil, has now found its way to Busan. The film will be screened at the 27th Busan Film Festival.

Raaj Kamal Films International, the production house of Kamal Haasan, has released an official statement regarding the screening of Vikram at the 27th Busan Film Festival on social media. The statement read: “The film will be screened at the prestigious Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) which will take place from October 5 to 14. Vikram will be screened in the Open Cinema category which recognizes new and internationally acclaimed films that strike the perfect balance between popular and artistic cinema.”
Speaking of this honor, Raaj Kamal Films International CEO V. Narayanan said in a statement: “The response to Vikram around the world has been extremely overwhelming. The Busan Film Festival is another feather in the cap of the film and the selection is a win for the entire team. We are proud to have our film shown alongside some of the best films around the world and are grateful for all the love and admiration from the audience.”
Come to the movies Vikram, the Tamil action thriller also starred Kalidas Jayaram, Narain and Chemban Vinod Jose in pivotal roles. The film revolves around the storyline of how a Black Ops team takes down an ambitious drug lord who can go to any lengths to fulfill his dreams. The lead actors of Kamal Haasan, Fahadh Faasil and Vijay Sethupathi are known as a treat for action lovers with a lot of blood and violence and received massive response in the theaters in India and abroad. Although originally recorded in Tamil, it was also dubbed into Telugu and Hindi. The film is currently streaming on Disney+ Hotstar and ZEE5.
