As October 5 marks Vijayadashami, people across India are celebrating the occasion. Meanwhile, on this day there is also a ritual of worshiping weapons. As part of one, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut also practiced Shastra Poojan at her home.
Kangana Ranaut worships guns with soldiers to celebrate Vijayadashami; shares a special “Sandesh”
According to its verified social media handle, the Queen actress shared some inside pictures of her Vijay Dashmi party and Shastra Poojan. The images, shared on her Instagram story, show the actress saying her prayers. Meanwhile, there were also some soldiers in the photos, and some rifles stacked on a table. The pictures show Ranaut wearing a purple kurta paired with pink salwar and yellow dupatta.
Caption of one of the images, the Manikarnika actress wrote: “A few pictures of the Shastra Puja today at home on the occasion of Vijay Dashmi.” Meanwhile, the caption of another photo featuring soldiers read: “Jo desh ki raksha karte hain, ishwar unki raksha karein (I pray for the safety of those protecting the country).”
Sharing her wishes, the simran actress added: “Dharm se monkey koi bhi ho lekin karm se Kshatriya hain. Sabko Vijay Dashmi pe sirf ek sandesh, Vijayi Bhava (Whoever you are by your religion, you are all Kshatriyas because of the work you do. My message to everyone on Vijay Dashmi: May you always be victorious).”
Speaking of her professional front, the 35-year-old actress was last seen in Dhakad. The high-octane action movie performed poorly at the box office. She will be next seen as the late Indian politician Indira Gandhi in Emergency.
