Kapil Sharma says, ‘Aaj pehli baar aapne rulaya hai Raju bhai, kash ek mulakat aur ho jati’

The entire nation is in disbelief at the passing of Raju Srivastava at the age of 58. The top comedian breathed his last in AIIMS, New Delhi, around 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday. He fought 40 days for his life on a ventilator after he went into cardiac arrest on August 10 while exercising at the gym. His colleague and close friend Kapil Sharma has said goodbye to the ‘King of Comedy’ in tears. Kapil posted on Instagram a smiling photo of Raju Srivastava from his visit to The Kapil Sharma Show. On his death, he wrote an emotional note in Hindi that read: “Aaj pehli baar aapne rulaya hai Raju bhai. Kash ek mulakat aur ho jati. Ishwar aapko apne charno me sthan dein. Aap bohot yaad aayenge. Alvida. Om Shanti ( For the first time you made me cry Raju bhai I wish we could have met one last time I pray the Almighty to protect you under his love You will be sorely missed See you soon. Kapil Sharma mourns the loss of Raju Srivastava in an emotional note:

Condolences pour in from all corners to mourn the comedian’s passing. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath, filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar, Vivek Agnihotri, comedians Bharti Singh, Sunil Pal, Krishna Abhishek and others have remembered the late Raju Srivastava. Raju’s family has informed the media that the comedian will be cremated at Nigambodh Ghat in Delhi on Thursday, September 22. His remains will be transferred to Raju’s residence in Delhi in Dwarka.

Raju’s wife Shikha has been inconsolable since the comedian’s passing. She hasn’t been able to talk about it. She said that Raju had fought really hard, she really hoped and prayed to see him out. She decided to say that Raju was a real fighter.
