Tanna reveals to us that Hansal Mehta didn’t approach her for the role and tells how she got Scoop. , I found out it was Hansal Mehta’s show and I really wanted to work with him. During Scam (Scam 1992-Harshad Mehta Story) I had sent him a message: “Sir, I want to work with you”, and he messaged me: “Of course, something in the future. And come on: I do audition for him, then I get a call from the team that I’ve been shortlisted for this, and I’m so happy; I’m almost numb; the excitement was at its peak; I really want to do something like that.”
The actress in the same interview revealed that Hansal was almost warned by people not to cast her because of her glamorous diva image, and so far no one witnessed her acting ability, but Hansal said nothing, and she is thankful to the filmmakers because she believed in her. Karishma was definitely a surprise package. Karishma had made her acting debut in Bollywood with Rajkummar Hirani’s Sanju.
She is indeed the chosen one. Karishma is thrilled and over the moon with all the positive reviews for her show Scoop, which is based on the true story of a crime journalist named Jigna Vohra who was accused and tried for conspiracy with J Dey, a well-known crime journalist. who is allegedly killed by gangster Chota Rajan.
